Street Meet brings Hilton Head Island much of the best food of America’s taverns and street vendors of the early years of the last century. Patrons will find a broad selection of “homemade” soups, sandwiches made with freshly roasted meat and fresh bread, salads, imported Hoffman hot dogs, appetizers, a fresh ground beef burger menu and more. Daily specials, tempting desserts, a kids’ menu and a full bar. At least 20 wines will be available by the glass. Take-out is a specialty. Ask about family packs to go, including lots of sandwiches, burgers or hot dogs, served with a basket of fries and a two liter soda. Family-friendly, non-smoking restaurant designed to look like a 1930’s street corner and tavern, with lots of cobblestones on the floor, brickwork on the walls, and beautiful warm wood in the bar area.
