Family owned and operated Michael Anthony's brings Hilton Head upscale Italian dining that one might expect to find in Philadelphia or New York, but at much more affordable prices! The menu includes regional dishes from many parts of Italy. Kitchen activities, we are told, are orchestrated in the manner of the "old school." Meats and seafood are cleaned and cut, and desserts are prepared on the premises. An excellent list of French and California wines is augmented by numerous selections from the Italian peninsula. Flights of wine are offered for those who like to sample alternatives. Michael Anthony's executive chef, a protege of one of the finest chefs in Philadelphia, has outstanding credentials.
